I forgot to share this sooner. The night before the NHL Business
Meeting walkthrough, someone from the production office asked us to
clean their carpet. Derek was in the production office, all night,
making sure their carpet will be presentable for the walkthrough.

During that night. Whenever Derek received a call, on his floor (he
had a number of sick spills to attend to that night), Derek would take
care of the call then continue cleaning the production’s office
carpet.

Derek is always willing to help someone out and maintain a whatever it
take attitude. It was cool to see someone work on a big project, while
running a floor, during a busy concert.
