Douglas began his career in the JanSan industry at Colman Supply, a family run business, in 1987 after graduating from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in General studies. Working in all aspects of the business, in all capacities, Doug completed a buyout of family partners, and founded The Professional Group in 1999, which included Industrial supply solutions, Janitorial Cleaning, Exterior Lawn and Snow maintenance, interior Plantscaping design and service, and Holiday Decorating.

Led by Doug and some really cool and great partners, TPG has grown to become a regional provider of supplies and services operating in 30 states across the US. In 2009, BELFOR Holdings (a National/International Disaster Restoration Firm with over 350 offices across the US and the world) acquired TPG, and since then Doug has remained TPG’s President and CEO.

Scott is the Chief Financial Officer.  He is responsible for operational execution and financial oversight of the company.

Scott is an alumni of Deloitte & Touche, where he received his CPA.  He then joined Masco Corporation with a focus on home building products with significant time in business unit leadership roles.  During his 20 plus years with Masco Scott developed into a transformational leader guiding several businesses through defining times in their strategic lives.

He has a BA from Michigan State University in Accounting and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.

Dave is an experienced General Manager, Horticulturist and Turfgrass Specialist with over 30 years in the janitorial maintenance, landscape maintenance and snow & ice management industries.  Dave is a member in good standing of the Building Owners and Managers Association, the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Professional Landcare Network, Snow and Ice Management Association, the Michigan Green Industry Association, the Michigan Turfgrass Foundation, and the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association.

Dave received his training through nine years with Chemlawn in the 1980s, where he eventually managed a 12,000 customer branch office in Delaware, and then spent the 1990’s as the Director of Horticultural Services for Torre & Bruglio in Pontiac, Michigan. At the time, Torre & Bruglio was the largest landscape contractor in Michigan. When not working, Dave enjoys working out, fishing, target shooting, and spending time with his wife, daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Eva leads the accounting and finance divisions, overseeing a team of sixteen accounting and admin professionals (A/R, A/P, Contract Administrators, Collections and Financial Analyst). She has been with TPG for over 15 years, starting out in the Grounds Maintenance division and has been promoted several times during her tenure. Eva is a graduate of Western Governors University with a BA in accounting.

Doug, the General Manager of Supplies, began working for The Professional Group in December of 2013. He is responsible for the marketing, growth and overall success of the company. Doug gained valuable knowledge of the industry working with his family’s commercial cleaning business throughout his childhood. After attending Michigan State University, he began working in the distribution industry with Continental Paper and Supply in February of 1989.

Doug has over 25 years of combined cleaning knowledge, competitive intelligence and market development. He became I.C.E. certified in November of 2012 and has been providing innovative ideas and solutions to help keep buildings clean and safe. Doug resides in Macomb, Michigan with his wife, Lauri, and their two children, Brett and Lauren. Doug is passionate about spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid hunter and also enjoys fishing and golf.

Human Resources Director for The Professional Group since February 2019 Michael worked in the hospitality and service industries in operations, sales and human resources since the mid-80s. Traveling and working in New England and many mid-western states. Born and raised in The City of Detroit. Attended Northwestern Michigan College and graduate of Madonna University.
