OUR WHY TO HELP OTHERS BE MORE SUCCESSFUL AT WHAT THEY DO

Hi,

I hope I got Crystal’s name correct. I just wanted to email you to let you know how much BCSC MPU has appreciated having her as part our environmental services day crew. She is a hard worker and always busy. She has been an asset to the unit. She is willing to go above and beyond to help the staff out in the MPU and fits into our family very well. One example of this is when I misplaced my badge. She had already emptied the garbage’s in the procedure room I was in. Which is amazing in itself because she grabs them between cases without being asked.  In checking any place I could have lost my badge she took it upon herself to look through the garbage she had just collected. I would have happily done that myself but she did it before I could even get to it. I did find my badge in my office and not in the garbage. I cannot thank her enough for her help that day. Her assistance allowed me to get back to my procedure room and get back to my day with minimal disruption. I tried to create a “Making a Difference” award through Michigan Medicine. Since I could not do that in our system I am sending you a shout out for her!
